So we're back to rape rooms now...
Everyone should thoroghly read this (www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,1206725,00.html) article on the conditions for prisoners being datained by the U.S. in iraq. Six of our soldiers have been caught, in photographs, torturing and abusing prisoners. The photos show U.S. personnel, in uniform, stacking iraqi men in nude pyramids, forcing them to publicly masturbate, forcing them to strike each other, forcing them to simulate sex with each other, and so on. Even worse, it appears that these soldiers were under orders not from the U.S. Military command, which absolutely forbids such treatment of prisoners, but from independant mercenary contractors hired by the pentagon for their specialization in interrogation services. And if what these civillian contractors had these sick, disgraceful soldiers doing sounds bad to you, the actual contractors have been doing worse, actually carrying out beatings, torture, and rapes. In once case, a contractor employee raped a young Iraqui boy who was being held. The Millitary can do nothing, because he is not under their jurisdiction. So he walks free. Again, this man works for a company HIRED BY THE PENTAGON.
Boy, we really DID replace Saddam Hussein, didn't we? when do we start feeding dissanters into a giant meat grinder?

"April 7, 2004 | WASHINGTON (AP) -- Secretary of State Colin Powell cautioned Sen. Edward M. Kennedy to be more careful in criticizing the war in Iraq after the Massachusetts Democrat called the conflict "George Bush's Vietnam.''
Kennedy "should be a little more restrained and careful in his comments because we are at war,'' Powell said Tuesday on Fox News Radio's "Tony Snow Show.''
Powell said debating the Iraq war was appropriate and an important part of American democracy. But, he said, "this is the also the time that we rally the nation behind the challenge that we face in Iraq and Afghanistan.''
Powell acknowledged that he did not see Kennedy's speech because he was in Haiti, where he met with the country's interim government. "
Hey, Powell? I'm gonna go get a step ladder so you can jump up my butt.
